We are always delighted to add new volunteers to our team.
The Bluebell Railway Museum tells the story of the Bluebell Railway, which began as the Lewes and East Grinstead Railway (LEGR) in 1882, and was later taken over by the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway.
We are accredited by the Arts Council England.
We are visited by over 45,000 people every year.
The Museum is staffed and run entirely by volunteers.
If you think you might like to help as a Bluebell Museum Steward why not join us for a taster?
We would be very pleased to let you join us for a morning, afternoon or whole day so that you may experience the work of our Stewards.
With guidance you will be able to undertake the tasks we do, talk to our visitors, existing Stewards and other Bluebell Volunteers.
If you would like to arrange a taster day please email our Curator. (curator@bluebell-railway-museum.co.uk)
